Ersel Asset Management SGR

Ersel Asset Management SGR was the first mutual fund management company to be authorised in Italy in 1983. It manages harmonised Italian mutual funds which are differentiated in terms of their management policy, direct securities, a closed real estate fund, a private equity fund and hedge funds.

There are two management teams, one dedicated to direct management and one to selecting the products which make up the multimanager funds.
A specific committee is responsible for establishing asset allocation proposals across the various geographic areas and the currency exposure. These proposals are analysed and validated by the Board of Directors, while fund managers are responsible for the division across individual markets and the choice of sectors and securities. The team dedicated to the multimanager business ensures an effective process of looking for the best opportunities, a constant exchange of information, and close control of the work of the chosen managers.
